YAOUNDE, May 25 (Xinhua) -- Militants of terror group Boko Haram have killed four civilians in raids in Cameroon's Far North region, local security sources said on Wednesday.
The terrorists targeted Kotshirahe and Koupaye localities in the region overnight into Wednesday.
In Kotshirahe, the militants killed an aged man and two children and also killed one person in Koupaye, according to a security official.
The terrorists, who are increasing attacks against civilians, also stole property from the villagers and threatened to come back and attack them again, said the official who asked not to be named.
The militants have caused enormous material and humanitarian damage since they started launching attacks in the region in 2014, according to security reports.
